Happy Huntsville 4th of July!!!

Happy 4th of July!! It is always so wonderful to spend the day in Huntsville with family. This year is no diffrent, except the family is bigger. This year Gary and his family came to spend the day in Huntsville with the family, and enjoy all of the Huntsville festivities!

The day starte as most 4th of July's in Huntsville with the Parade, and the Jet's buzzing the park. That is my very favorite part of the day I think. I am so greatful to be an Amewrican and to live where and how I do. It is emotional every year as I feel the power of the Jets as they fly over head, it is such an Awesome feeling!!

After the parade and all the tractors and old cars, we walk around the park for a bit and see what kind of fun things and good food there might be to enjoy this year. It is always nice to hear the local entertainment that performs as well. There were alot of good performances today.

After we walked around the park for a while we made our way back to the house and ate some yummy 4th of July food. Bar B Q's, salad's and lots of other yummy food!! While we were eatting some of the other's made their way down to the water. Greg (Gary's son) brought up his boat and Gary had his wave runners there as well, for everyone to play with. Greg was so nice to drive the kids all around the dam as they took turns ridding the tubes behind the boat. It was alot of fun, and a good chance to get to know the new part of the family as well.

It was kind of an over cast day, and we even had a little rain, but as the day went on the clouds minimized and the weather cleared up enough for all to start setting out the blankets in the park and await the fireworks. Ever since we moved from Huntsville we dont stay for fireworks in the park. We instead drive home to Farr West and go into the backyard and watch them in Willard, Roy, South Ogden, Ogden, and North Ogden. It is so fun to watch all of the firework shows all at once.

I love the 4th of July, it is my very favorite holiday. It means so much to live where we do, and to have all of the many freedoms that this country holds. Happy 4th of July!!
