Happy Birthday Grandma Lu.......

Tonight we got to spend time Celebrating an Amazing Lady!! My Grandma Lu has been such an amazing person in my life. We have had so much fun and created so many memories through out my life.

It has been really special for my boy's to create some of their own special memories with their Great Grandma Lu as well. We have spent many Mondays together for lunches and visiting. These are some of the most special times for me, because my Grandma is with just me and my mom. Sometimes my Grandpa likes to come and join us, but for the most part it is my special time with my Grandma.

I am so lucky to have her in my life and to learn from her example. She is one of the few people in this world that examlifys true forgiveness. She is always the first person willing to help other's in need as well. She has taught me that family is of upmost improtance and that no matter what you keep them close to you.

Happy Birthday Grandma, may this year to come hold many more blessing's for you!!! We love you!!

Go Rockies.....

Go Rockies!! Jake's team this year is the Rockies, and it is a great team. He is so excited to play with the kid's that are on the team this year. He also has a GrEaT coach, Kurt Aldous, who's son Jake plays on the team with Jake. They have played on other teams together, so this will be great year for them again.

Jake loves the game of baseball!! I think he would play this sport year round. He is very good at it as well. Jake plays short stop, and it is so exciting for me to watch how much he has learned and develop over the past 5 years he has played. It is also really fun to watch him play year after year. He has grown so much, and has come to really enjoy playing the game.

"It isn't so much about winning or losing as it is about how you play he game." This is one of my favorite quotes, not only with sports but with life. I hope that Jake will always love to play the game that he has become so good at. He truly has a knack for this sport, and the ability to allow it to take him far in life. Once again, Go RoCkIeS!!!!!

T-Money and the Twins

This is Jackson's first year at coach pitch baseball, and he loves it. He is so lucky to have the same coach as last year's t-ball team also. He is such a ball er and has such a knack for playing sports.

It is so fun to watch him as he gets up to bat, and gets in his stance. He has such a great swing, and such desire to smack that ball out of the field. He is one GrEaT ball player!!

This year he had some of his friends on his team as well, there were a few from last years team, and a few new kids that he got the chance to get to know as well. This is one talented team, and through out the season I am sure they will do very well.

Happy Birthday Simon

Today Simon turned 5, and Jake, Jackson, Grandma Bott and I all went up to wish him a Happy Birthday!! He is such a cute little guy!! I have told him that I am his favorite aunt, and for now I think he agrees. I am sure there will come a day that that may change, but for now I think it is pretty cool.
Simon is always so full of energy, and comes up with some pretty quirky sayings as well. He is one in a million, and there could never be another like him. We love you Simon Lorenzo!!! Happy Birthday!!!

Morgan Spring Lamb Show '11

I cant believe how fast time flies. I swear it seems like we were just here getting the lambs ready for the Spring Show.

This s the kick off to the summer in my opinion. It marks the time that Jake starts raising, training and preparing his lamb for the Weber County Fair. This year Jake has another Ewe lamb, and he is so excited to be getting back into this country atmosphere. Jake is a country boy through and through.

It was such a fun day. It started with the kids washing and getting the lambs ready. They watched some of the other shows and then slowly got closer to there groups.

They each did real well, and Jake even placed 5th in a group of 19 lambs. Congratulations Jaker!! After the show we headed back to the trailer and cars to make a sandwich. I ha made a plan with Camie that I would bring my big, fake SNAKE, to scare Alden with. He is as afraid of snakes as much as I am, but it was a fake snake so I was OK. Camie set it up just behind the trailer and then we lured him over to where he would see the snake. I thought he was going to die. I cant type what he said, but he did jump at least 10 feet, and almost stopped breathing. We moved it and scared him a couple more times before the day ended. What a hoot!!

What a fun day this has been! Spent with great friends in the country!!
