jake did really well this year earning awards. He put alot of time and effort into both his lamb and extra activities that the 4-H offers. Thisyear Jake won a medal for taking 1st place in the cumulative livestock testing for sheep. He also entered alot of items into the indoor exhibit at the fair and even had one of the projects move on to the Utah State Fair.
This year our 4-H group earned the "Clean Stall Award", which is a very sought after award at the fair. The kids all took turn's sweeping and cleaning the stalls for their lambs each time they walked into the barn. It was really excitting for them to have this award presented to them. They were each given a feed bucket and scoop, as well as $35.00 to split between the group. I was so proud of them. They are Awesome.
